Requirements:

Be between 20 to 29 years old

Have a valid driver’s license (Some families may accept non-driver’s)

Childcare experience (Have at least 2 childcare references with non-related children) Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent

Be single with no dependents

Be in good physical and mental health

Be a non-smoker

Have a clear criminal record

Be a South African or Namibian citizen

Be willing to commit for a one year program

Life as an Au Pair in Sweden
As an Au Pair in Sweden, you will be living with a host family and be like a big sister to the children. You will receive at least 5880SEK per month for providing childcare services to the host family for up to 25 hours per week and assisting with household duties. You also get to learn Swedish as your host family will contribute towards a language course. You will have at least one full weekend off per month and will be entitled to 2 weeks off during your program year. You will have time to travel and explore all the amazing tourist sites that Sweden has to offer!
