Requirements:

Have a driver’s license (On the rare occasion some families may accept non-driver’s)

Knowledge of basic French

Childcare experience (Have at least 2 childcare references with non-related children)

Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent

Life as an Au Pair in France
As an Au Pair in France, you will be living with a host family and be like a big sister to the children. You will receive a weekly stipend in exchange for providing childcare services to the host family for 30 to 40 hours per week. You also get to learn French as your host family will contribute towards a French language course. You will have time to travel and explore all the amazing tourist sites that France has to offer!
Responsibilities of an Au Pair
in France
- Taking the children to school and other activities - Helping the children with homework - Preparing meals for the children - Helping the children to get ready for the day - Assist with household chores like preparing dinner, doing laundry, ironing, vacuuming, making beds, keeping the kitchen clean, loading and unloading the dishwasher etc. - All childcare related duties like doing the children’s laundry, keeping the children’s rooms and play areas tidy etc. - Assist with caring for animals
